Course Overview This programme focuses on the key relationship between the supervisor/manager and the individual employee. It promotes the building of communication and trust as key factors in successfully coaching an employee. It explores why employees do not always do what we want or expect them to do and how to get them back on track effectively.
The programme encourages the supervisor/manager to reflect on their own behaviours and motivation in communicating with and coaching the employee. It examines how people learn and the importance of small steps and logical sequencing in the learning process. Listening, empathising, questioning and the skills of giving and receiving feedback are also covered on this programme.
